1. Supply Terms

  • These Supply Terms govern the purchase of products from www.Sofanetic.in, a website operated by Sofanetic INDUSTRIES LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 (“Company” or “Sofanetic” and its successors and assigns).
  • PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING ANY PURCHASE OR USING ANY SERVICES ON THE WEBSITE. BY PURCHASING THROUGH THE WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND ACCEPT LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM.

2. Business

  • This Website serves as a platform for the online sale and purchase of merchandise and services (“Services”) provided by third-party vendors and service providers (“Vendors”).
  • You are responsible for your actions related to the use of purchased Products, and Sofanetic will not be liable for such actions.
  • By using the Website, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract and are not prohibited from receiving services under applicable Indian laws.
  • Sofanetic is not responsible for any payment deficiencies related to the Products purchased through the Website.

3. Product

  • Sofanetic facilitates the sale and shipping of products as per its policies, which may be updated from time to time.
  • While we strive to deliver products as shown on the site, natural wood products may vary in uniqueness. Sofanetic disclaims any guarantees regarding the exact finish, color, or appearance of the final product. In the case of significant damage, inform the delivery person immediately and send photographic evidence to customersupport@Sofanetic.in at the time of delivery. Sofanetic will review the evidence and take necessary actions per the Warranty & Replacement terms.
  • If you receive a damaged product, notify the delivery personnel immediately. For issues discovered later, contact customer care or email us at customersupport@Sofanetic.in.

4. Services

  • www.Sofanetic.in provides a platform for the sale and purchase of merchandise and services (“Services”) offered by various third-party vendors/service providers (“Vendors”). The purchase of products and services is subject to the Terms of Use.
  • Sofanetic reserves the right to modify or discontinue any Service at any time without prior notice. We may also change purchase procedures, modes, or conditions at our discretion. Sofanetic will not be liable for any changes, suspensions, or discontinuations of Services.

5. Pricing Information

  • Product prices are listed on our Website and are based on market perception. All prices are in Indian Rupees and may be adjusted at Sofanetic’s discretion.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical or other errors on the Website, brochure, promotional material, or any other document, Sofanetic reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify orders placed at the incorrect price, regardless of order confirmation or payment. If payments have been made, we will refund them if the order is affected by pricing errors.
  • The Company is not obligated to ship products at incorrect prices or under adverse conditions. Any discovered errors will be corrected, and the updated price will apply to your order.
  • Prices advertised online may not reflect the actual selling prices in your area. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
  • Sofanetic aims to offer the best possible rates but does not guarantee the lowest price in any location. Prices and availability can change without notice.
  • Stores in the northeast, including Imphal and Aizawl, may charge up to 5% more due to additional freight expenses.

6. Bank Details

When shopping with Sofanetic, you agree to provide accurate Credit/Debit card details to the approved payment gateways. You must use a Credit/Debit card that is lawfully owned by you. Your information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for fraud verification or legal requirements. You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of your card details. Sofanetic disclaims any liability for unauthorized use of your Credit/Debit card.

7. Delivery & Shipping

  • Sofanetic provides personal delivery of products to your doorstep through our designated delivery partners. With a Pan India network, we aim to deliver your item within 21 days of sale, depending on your location and practical constraints.
  • After completing your online purchase and receiving payment for the product and any applicable delivery charges, Sofanetic will send a confirmation email to your registered address with the scheduled delivery date.
  • We will deliver your furniture to your premises, provided it is accessible from our existing branches. You must arrange for smooth delivery from the main gate to your doorstep at your own expense, regardless of the floor.
  • Ensure that access is suitable for the delivery of the furniture to your desired location. Sofanetic will not accept cancellations or rejections due to access issues (e.g., narrow doorways, insufficient space, or inaccessible roads).
  • We strive to deliver on the estimated date. If delivery is delayed, we will notify you using your registered contact details.
  • Delivery within showroom territories is generally free of charge.
  • Shipping addresses cannot be changed after placing an order.
  • For custom orders or items out of stock, we will inform you via email.
  • If you fail to accept delivery, Sofanetic may charge additional shipping costs at its discretion.
  • If your furniture remains in our warehouse for over a week due to your failure to accept delivery (despite our attempts to contact you), Sofanetic reserves the right to cancel your order and retain up to 20% of the order value.
  • At delivery, Sofanetic will provide a Warranty Card, Invoice, and dispatch papers. Please request these from the delivery person.
  • Gift purchases will be made presentable with special messages or greetings as possible.
  • We currently ship to Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Coimbatore.
  • Note: Orders placed within 1 week of Diwali may experience delivery delays due to the festive season and holidays.
  • For your convenience, please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy in FAQ format (*).

8. Installation/Assembly

  • Sofanetic offers free installation and assembly services through authorized technicians. The product will be assembled at your premises after delivery.
  • Our technicians will not handle items other than those purchased from Sofanetic. Once assembly is complete, they are not responsible for moving the product to a different location. Any damage from such activities by your representatives is excluded from the warranty.

9. Warranty/Claims & Representations

Our Products: Sofanetic manufactures and sells sofas, chairs, tables, wardrobes, beds, etc., made from solid wood, leather, marble, glass, plywood, and other materials.

Warranty Period: We ensure all products are free from manufacturing defects. If a defect is found, we offer:

  * A five-year repair warranty on Sofanetic furniture, starting from the date of the invoice. The first year covers free repairs. For the remaining four years, repair services are available at the customer’s cost.

  * A three-year repair warranty, starting from the invoice date. The first year covers free repairs. For the remaining two years, repair services are available at the customer’s cost.

* **Warranty Exclusions:** The warranty does not cover:

  * Rocking chairs, bean bags, pillows, décor, accessories, furniture handles, and shelves.

  * Products made of marble, glass, stone, plastic, or fiber (unless explicitly stated).

  * Defects or damage from normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper cleaning, or incorrect handling/installation.

  * Damage from use beyond the product’s intended purpose.

  * Products sold during sales or at discounted prices (unless specified).

  * Damage from accidents, natural events, or contact with harmful agents.

  * Defects resulting from failure to follow care instructions.

  * Repair services are not available for damage from improper installation by third parties or misuse of third-party accessories.

* **General Terms:**

  * Notify Sofanetic of any defects as soon as possible and send the product to an authorized service center at your cost.

  * Sofanetic may reject products that do not meet warranty terms.

  * Sofanetic is not liable for complete replacement or recall of products.

  * To claim warranty repairs, the product must be in its original state without unauthorized modifications. Unauthorized repairs or alterations will void the warranty.

* **Variation Due to Natural Characteristics:** Wood and leather have inherent characteristics (e.g., color, texture, grain). Solid wood may expand or contract with climate changes, and leather may develop creases. Sofanetic makes efforts to minimize these variations but is not liable for them.

* **Tolerance:** Products may have a tolerance of +/- 10mm in dimension. Differences in seating comfort due to material characteristics are normal and not considered defects.

* **Effective Date:** This warranty policy is effective from May 2021 and supersedes any previous policies, whether written or oral.

10. Exchange/Return/Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

* Orders cannot be canceled once booked, except within one (1) hour of receipt. No cancellations are allowed beyond this one-hour window. Any amounts paid will be deemed forfeited after this period.

Return Policy

* We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every product ordered from us. We stand behind the quality of our products.

    * Products are sold on a non-return basis unless damaged, different from the order, or incorrectly delivered (refer to Clause I).

    * Returns require prior approval from the Company.

    * The Company reserves the right to inspect the Goods being returned (refer to General Terms Clause 4(b)).

    * Goods must be returned according to the Company’s procedure (refer to Clause III).

    * Customers must retain signed return documentation as proof of return.

    * A re-stocking fee of 15% applies to all returns unless the product is damaged, faulty, or incorrectly delivered. This fee is payable within 15 days after the end of the month in which the product is replaced.

**I. Eligibility of Return**

   * **Damaged:** Products not received in good condition or damaged beyond repair.

   * **Difference:** Products delivered that differ from the original order (wrong SKU).

**II. Not Eligible for Return**

   * **Relocation:** We are not responsible for damage occurring during relocation or reassembly.

   * **Self-Assembly:** Damage resulting from self-assembly or use of unauthorized third-party vendors.

**III. Process and Timelines**

   * **Step 1:** Follow this process for returns; non-compliance may result in the return not being processed:

        * **Company Installed Products:** Record a video at delivery showing the damaged/different product with the Sofanetic Technician present.

        * **DIY Products:** Record a video unboxing and assembling the product, highlighting any damage or differences.

   * **Step 2:** Submit the video/images and invoice details to customersupport@Sofanetic.in or call 1800223242. Our support team will create a ticket and provide a Ticket ID for tracking.

**IV. Evaluate and Pick-Up**

   * Your ticket will be evaluated within 7 working days.

   * Return requests are reviewed by the Customer Support team, and an expert visit may be scheduled. The resolution will depend on the technician’s report.

   * The product must be in its original condition, packaging, and unused.

   * Returns will only be picked up from the original shipping address.

* All returns are at the sole discretion of Sofanetic Industries Ltd.

* **Other Exclusions:** Variations due to natural characteristics of materials like wood and leather are not covered. Tolerance of (+/- 10mm) in dimensions and variations in seating comfort are normal and not defects.

* **Delivery Refusals:** If delivery is refused due to size or fit, customers are responsible for return costs and a 25% restocking fee. Customers must measure their space and ensure the product’s fit before purchase.

* **Customer Agreement:** By purchasing, customers agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the SALE, WARRANTY POLICY & RETURN POLICY.

* **Special Orders:** Rare or custom products are sold on a no-return/refund basis, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.

* **Note:** Warranty Terms do not constitute a “Guarantee” and liability is limited to the Warranty Terms provided.

### 11. Indemnity & Liability

* You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sofanetic from any losses or claims resulting from your breach of these Terms.

* Sofanetic is not liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of use, data, or profits, even if advised of such damages.

### 12. Governing Law

* These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.

* Sofanetic may change promotional terms and conditions at any time. Participation in contests releases Sofanetic from any claims or demands.

### 13. Promotion/Offer/Sale

* Read the terms carefully before purchasing. Any purchase signifies acceptance of these terms.

* Sofanetic reserves the right to modify or discontinue offers at any time. Promotions are valid online only through www.Sofanetic.in and cannot be combined or modified after purchase.

* Gift vouchers and promo codes must be redeemed within the specified period. Promotions are not valid for purchases in Uttar Pradesh due to operational difficulties.

### 14. Terms of Sale of Wink Mattresses

**I. TERMS OF SALE**

   * **Payments:**

       * For online purchases ≤ Rs. 62,500, a 20% advance is required, with the balance payable on delivery.

       * For orders > Rs. 62,500, full payment or EMI is required at order placement.

       * In-store purchases require a 25% advance, with the balance due 2 days before delivery.

   * **Mode of Payment:**

       * Acceptable modes include Cash, Cheque, Draft, Credit/Debit Cards, and RTGS.

   * **Order Execution:**

       * Orders will be executed within 4-5 working days from payment receipt.

       * Cancellations result in retention of 20% (online) or 25% (in-store) as liquidated damages.

   * **Force Majeure:**

       * Sofanetic is not liable for delays or damage due to events beyond control.

   * **Freight at Customer’s Risk:**

       * Freight charges are the customer’s responsibility.

   * **Delivery Conditions:**

       * Delivery dates are estimates. Delays do not constitute grounds for order cancellation.

   * **Delivery in Lots:**

       * Orders may be delivered in one or multiple lots.

   * **Installation:**

       * Wink Mattresses are sold on a “Do It Yourself” basis. Read the user manual before use.

   * **Damage at Your Site:**

       * Sofanetic is not responsible for damage or theft after delivery.

II. WARRANTY

  • Duration: 10-year warranty for material defects.
  • Claims: Require the original invoice.
  • Coverage: Includes replacement or refund for thickness reduction within the first year; depreciation value afterward.
  • Costs: Transportation and insurance costs for replacements are borne by the customer.

III. EXCEPTIONS

Excludes normal wear and tear, cosmetic flaws, stains, mold, personal preferences, and misuse.

IV. How to Make a Claim

Send a written description, photo, and proof of purchase to customersupport@Sofanetic.in within the warranty period.

V. Claim Handling Procedure

Claims are inspected by Sofanetic’s technical team. Final decisions are based on this inspection.

VI. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sofanetic’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the mattress.

VII. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Disputes are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in Mumbai.

Terms and conditions are subject to change. The warranty does not constitute a “Guarantee,” and liability is limited as stated above.
